Weather Causing Outages

About 2,800 VEC customers are experiencing power outages due to severe weather as of 11:10 p.m. Eastern Time Wednesday. The majority of the outages are in Bradley County (1,943) and Polk County (674). Outages are also reported in McMinn County (83) and Hamilton County (50).

VEC crews are on the scene making repairs and will continue working throughout the night to restore power as quickly as possible. VEC apologizes for any inconveniences the outages may cause.
